The Italian Society of Silviculture and Forest Ecology (SISEF), publisher of the journals Forest@ and iForest, is committed to provide information and services to the scientific community through its on-line journals and the on-line bulletin, as reported in the corporate charter. To fit the above task, some kind of information on user clients connecting to the web site (IP address, browser type) are collected. Such information is exclusively used for page access counting, with the only aim of improving the journal web site (hosted at the Electronic Computing Centre of the University of Parma - Italy). No personal information of any kind is collected.
The Society undertakes not to communicate in any way the above data to any people, company or third organizations or parties.
Mailing List Subscribers
The Italian Society of Silviculture and Forest Ecology (SISEF), publisher of Forest@ and iForest, communicates with members and subscribers by e-mail with the aim of providing information on the activities of the Society, the papers recently issued by the journals and other science-related events such symposia, meetings, courses, job opportunities, etc. Subscribers and members will receive on average 2/3 e-mail messages per month to their mailbox.
Subscribers are requested to fulfill a form, whose data will be submitted in a safe way to the Society database. By sending this form, subscribers do accept to be included in the mailing list of the Society and to receive by e-mail the electronic material described above. Data maintained in the Society database may be checked out by subscribers whenever they like, by accessing directly to their record through the journal web pages.
The Society undertakes not to communicate in any way the e-mail addresses (or any other kind of personal data) included in its mailing list to any people, company or third organizations or parties.
Unsubscribe on-line Services
Members and subscribers of the SISEF alert services may unsubscribe by sending an e-mail message at the following address: email@example.com. Upon reception of unsubscriptions, the Society undertakes to erase any kind of previously-collected personal data or information of the mail sender from its database and mailing lists.
